Other things happening this week: the Winter Solstice wherein we folks in the ‘Great White Frozen Edge of the Earth’ start gaining back more sunlight - first by a few seconds and then by as much as seven minutes a day. This year’s Solstice marks the END of the dark days for us. I almost can’t believe it. Next winter we’ll be somewhere a bit more normal. And by normal I mean our sun will not rise at 10:56am.
The darkness is by far more difficult to deal with than the cold although let’s be serious…they both suck.
